Most people need nothing from us but a name on a list
Savaya is the one venue here where the free option is the main option. Put your names down and turn up. A daybed or a table is worth it if there are a few of you, but it is an extra, not the way in.

The venue
The one everybody means when they say Bali nightlife
Savaya sits on the cliffs at Uluwatu, a hundred metres above the Indian Ocean, and is widely regarded as the best club in Asia. The main deck is built around a gold cube stage looking out over open water, with pools and terraces stepping down the cliffside below.
The day builds, it does not start. Afternoons are for the pools and the loungers. The room fills as the sun drops, and sunset is the moment everyone comes for — the whole place turns to face the water. If you arrive at ten at night you have missed two thirds of it.
It is a beach club through the afternoon and a proper club after dark, on one entry. It is not on a beach, though, and people get caught out by that: it is a hundred metres above one, on the cliff.
Getting there, and getting back
The Bukit is further than it looks
Savaya is on the Bukit, about an hour from Canggu when the roads are kind and a good deal longer between three and six. This is the single thing most likely to spoil the day, so plan it before you plan anything else.
Grab and Gojek are barred from picking up in parts of the Bukit, so the sensible arrangement is a driver who waits. Work out the way home before you go, not at two in the morning on a clifftop.

Is the guestlist really free?
Yes. We hold a complimentary guestlist and it costs nothing — send us your date and how many of you there are, or register directly, and your names go down. Do tick “Complimentary Guestlist” when you register, because some events vary: select nights with a headline DJ are paid entry.
Is Savaya a beach club or a nightclub?
Both, and that is the point of it. A beach club through the afternoon — pools, daybeds, food — and a proper club after dark, on one entry. It is not on a beach though: it is a hundred metres above one, on the cliff.
Can we get a daybed or a table?
Yes, and they are worth it if there are a few of you, because they carry you through from the afternoon into the night. Availability and price move with the date and the size of your group, so we quote by hand rather than list a figure that would be wrong by the time you read it.
How do we get there and back?
It is on the Bukit, about an hour from Canggu when the roads are kind and longer between three and six. Grab and Gojek are barred from picking up in parts of the Bukit, so a driver who waits is the sensible arrangement. Sort the way home before you go.
What should we wear?
