The short version: we collect what you enter into our enquiry forms so we can plan your day, build itineraries and reply to you. We only load analytics and advertising tools if you grant permission, you can withdraw that permission at any time, and we never sell your data.
1. Who we are
Business operator: Michael Durrant, trading as One More Group, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. One More Day Events and One More Night are brands of One More Group. We publish free day itineraries and arrange bookings with independent operators and venues in Mallorca, Ibiza, Bali and Phuket. Michael Durrant is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

2. What we collect, and why
Enquiry & itinerary details. When you complete our itinerary planner or contact form, you confirm that you have read this policy, and we receive the information you provide: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address, travel dates, group size, selected experiences and custom notes.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). We use this data strictly to prepare recommendations, check availability, calculate pricing and communicate with you.
Direct marketing & future updates (optional). Our itinerary planner and enquiry forms have a separate, unticked box. Only if you tick it will we send you occasional offers, event news, seasonal guides and travel ideas from One More Group (One More Day Events and One More Night) by email or WhatsApp. Leaving it unticked makes no difference to your itinerary or to our reply about your trip. We keep a record of whether you ticked it and when.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). You can withdraw consent at any time, for free: click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email, reply “STOP” to a WhatsApp message, or email info@onemoredayevents.com. We then take you off the list and send no further marketing.
Campaign & referral source. If you reach our website via a tagged link (for example from TikTok, Instagram or an affiliate site), we record the referral source alongside your enquiry.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). This helps us understand which content and platforms drive interest. It identifies the marketing link tapped, not you personally.
Age limit. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age. Specific parties, excursions and activities listed on our platform carry minimum age requirements set by the operating partners.
3. How your enquiry reaches us
- WhatsApp — if you choose WhatsApp, your device opens the app with your enquiry pre-populated. Sending the message is entirely under your control. Use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.’s privacy terms.
- Direct email — enquiries sent to info@onemoredayevents.com are received directly within our secure business inbox.
- Form automation — hosted forms use secure automation tools (Zapier, Inc.) to route submissions directly to our inbox. Zapier acts as a data processor under strict contractual obligations and does not use your data for its own purposes.
4. Storage on your device (cookies & local storage)
We never load advertising or analytics tools before you agree to them. The items below are strictly necessary and are stored on your device whether or not you consent:

Referral partners. Some people recommend us and share a link with their name in it. If you arrive through one, we note that partner’s name against your enquiry, and add a short “Ref” line to any WhatsApp message you open from the site, so we can thank them and pay any commission we owe them. We do not give your name or contact details to the partner.
Analytics & advertising tools. If you agree via our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement), the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram advertising) and the TikTok Pixel (TikTok advertising). These set their own cookies and allow those companies to recognise your device and measure or target advertising. Nothing loads until you agree, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. You can adjust or revoke your preferences at any time via the “Cookie choices” link in our website footer.

5. Third-party assets & services
To deliver a fast and responsive experience, certain assets load via third-party infrastructure. Where an asset loads from another company’s servers, that company receives your IP address and standard browser information:
- Media & visuals — Unsplash (photography) and Pexels (video content).
- Widgets — Open-Meteo provides localised sea and weather forecasts using fixed coordinates for Mallorca, not your individual geographic location.
- Maps & directions — links to Google Maps open externally; Google’s privacy terms apply when accessed.
- Fonts — website typography is served by Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
6. Operators, venues and payment
Operators and venues. When you ask us to arrange something — a boat, a table, a beach club, a place on a guestlist — we pass the specific operator or venue only what they need to hold it: usually the lead name, the date and the size of the group. Guestlists in particular require a name list, which goes to the venue’s door.
Legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR).
Payment. This website takes no payment and stores no card details. There is no checkout on this site and none is planned. Where something is paid for, it is arranged directly with us after we have quoted you, and any card or bank details are handled outside this website — never collected by it, and never stored on it.
7. Data retention & your legal rights
Enquiries & support. Active planning conversations are retained while assisting you and for up to 24 months after your trip date in case of follow-up enquiries, after which they are deleted.
Financial & booking records. Once direct bookings and invoices are issued, accounting records are retained for as long as required by UK tax law (for a sole trader, at least five years after the 31 January Self Assessment filing deadline for the tax year concerned).
Your legal rights. Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, request a restriction on processing, object to processing, and request data portability. Where we rely on your consent — for analytics and advertising cookies — you can withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie choices” link in the footer.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@onemoredayevents.com. We respond to all valid requests within one month. If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. If you live in the EEA you may also complain to your own national data protection authority.
