How to get in
Names on the list first, a bed if you want one
The same arrangement as Savaya: we hold a guestlist here and it costs nothing. A daybed, a sofa or a cabana is the extra — worth it for a group, and the way to have somewhere that is yours for the day.
Complimentary guestlist
We hold a guestlist here and it costs nothing. Send us your date and how many of you there are, and your names go down.
- No charge, and no catch
- One message with your date and your names
- Some headline event nights are ticketed instead — we tell you before you travel
A daybed, a sofa or a VIP cabana
Eight areas, from daybeds on the pool to the cabanas and the sofas beside the DJ booth, all pictured below. We quote by hand, because what is free and what it costs move with the date and the size of your group.
- Tell us your dates and how many of you
- We come back with what is actually available
- Nothing is booked or charged until you say so
Where you sit
Every VIP area in the club
The guestlist gets you in. It does not come with a seat, and on a busy day the difference between a good afternoon and a long one is having somewhere to put your things down. These are the eight areas you can reserve, from the water’s edge back to the DJ booth, with the most guests each one takes.

Cabana
Woven-bamboo cabanas down the side of the club, each one a private space with its own sofa, table and shade. The most room and the most privacy in the venue.

Backstage
Sofas either side of the DJ booth, behind the line of the stage. As close to the decks as a table gets.

Ocean Edge Sofa
A big curved sofa under cover at the sea end of the club, looking straight down the beach. Shade all day and the sunset in front of you.

Dance Floor Sofa
Sofas on the edge of the dance floor, under the umbrellas and facing the stage. In it without being stood in it.

Dance Floor
The sofa booths either side of the floor itself. The middle of the club once the night gets going.

Main Deck
Sofas on the main deck, a step back from the floor, with the pool and the sea in front of you. The pick if you want to talk as well as dance.

Ocean Edge Daybed
Daybeds in a row along the infinity pool at the water’s edge, each with its own umbrella. The ones for the afternoon and the sunset.

Grotto VIP
A curved sofa tucked into the grotto beside the terrace: shaded, out of the crowd, and still looking at the beach.
No prices here, on purpose — they move with the date and the event. Tell us the area you like, your date and how many of you, and we come back with what is free.
Floor plan
Where each area is
The sea is along the top. The pool and the ocean-edge daybeds run beside it, the dance floor sits in the middle in front of the DJ booth, and everything else is arranged around that.
The venue
Savaya’s sister, down at sea level
Zumana opened in August 2026 on the beachfront at Kuta, from the group behind Savaya and Desa Kitsuné. Where Savaya is a hundred metres up a cliff, this one is on the sand: the pool runs along the sea wall and the whole club faces west into the sunset.
It is one big open-air deck. The DJ booth sits under a towering carved figure at the back, the dance floor opens out in front of it, and the sofas, daybeds and cabanas step out from there towards the water.
Worth knowing: this is Kuta, not Uluwatu. It is busier, far closer to the airport and much easier to reach, and the beach in front is a town beach rather than an empty cove. People come for the pool, the music and the sunset.
Getting there, and what to bring
The easy one to reach
Zumana is on Jalan Kartika Plaza at Kuta, on the beachfront behind the Discovery Mall. It is the closest of the three to the airport, which makes it the obvious first or last day of a trip. Kuta traffic is still Kuta traffic, so leave more time than the map says.
- From Seminyak allow about half an hour; from Canggu or Uluwatu an hour or more
- Over 21s only, and the door asks for photo ID — bring a passport or a driving licence
- Smart casual: no sportswear, vests or flip-flops, and swimwear stays around the pool
- Opening times differ by day and some nights are evening-only events — check the day with us if you are coming for sunset
Tell us your dates
Names down, or something more
For the guestlist, one message with your date and your names is all it takes. Message us as well if you want a daybed, a sofa or a cabana, or if it is a headline night and you want to know before you travel whether it is ticketed.
Questions
Zumana, answered
Is the guestlist really free?
Yes. We hold a complimentary guestlist and it costs nothing — send us your date and how many of you there are and your names go down. Some event nights with a headline DJ are ticketed instead, so tell us the date and we will say which it is before you travel.
What are the VIP areas at Zumana?
Eight of them: the cabanas, the backstage sofas beside the DJ booth, the ocean-edge sofas, the ocean-edge daybeds along the pool, the dance floor sofas, the dance floor itself, the main deck and the grotto. Each one is pictured on this page with the floor plan underneath.
Why are there no prices?
Because what a daybed, a sofa or a cabana costs moves with the date, the event and the size of your group, and a figure that is wrong by the time you read it is worse than no figure. Tell us when you are there and how many of you, and we come back with what is actually available. Nothing is booked or charged until you say so.
Is there an age limit or a dress code?
Zumana is adults only — over 21 — and the door asks for photo ID, so bring a passport or a driving licence. The dress code is smart casual: no sportswear, vests or flip-flops, and swimwear stays around the pool.
How do we get there?
It is on the beachfront at Kuta, on Jalan Kartika Plaza behind the Discovery Mall, and it is the closest of the three to the airport. From Seminyak allow half an hour. From Canggu or Uluwatu allow an hour or more, and a good deal longer between three and six.
When is the best time to come?
For sunset. Kuta faces west and the whole club is built to look at it, so arrive in the afternoon and stay through. Opening times differ by day and some nights are evening-only events, so if the sunset is the reason you are coming, check the day with us first.
