On the sand
These are the beach clubs people actually go to on Phuket. We do not book them — add any of them to your planner and they go into your itinerary on the right afternoon, with what you need to know about getting in.
The original Phuket beach club and still the best-known, on the sand at Bang Tao. Sunbeds and pool beds, most of them carrying a minimum spend, and it gets properly busy at weekends and through the afternoon.
The Ibiza brand, on the sand at Kamala, with a proper club room that runs on later than the others. The biggest of them by capacity and the one that most resembles a night out rather than a day at the beach.
Banyan Tree’s club at Laguna, with a long stretch of beachfront to itself. The most polished of them, and quieter and more grown-up than Catch or Café del Mar.
Opened in 2024 on Patong beach road, with a semicircular pool facing straight out to sea. Over-20s only, and beach seats and cabanas both carry a minimum spend.
On the sand in the middle of Patong, and the easiest one to walk into if you are already staying there. Less of a scene than the Bang Tao clubs, which some people prefer.

Spread along the west coast. Catch is on the sand at Bang Tao, Café del Mar at Kamala, RAVA at Laguna, and Barra Cuda and Kudo are both on Patong. Yona is offshore from Patong.
Barra Cuda on Patong beach road is over-20s only. The others do not run a blanket age limit, though they are not really set up for small children.
